I recently switched phones from the S23+ to the S25 and my S25 launches secure folder EVERY time my phone connects to my car's Bluetooth. I have a routine created to launch Waze only which used to work on my old phone but secure folder is overriding this routine no matter what I do and I don't have any setting that I know of turned on where it should be launching.
Does anyone have a solution for this please? 🙏🏼

Hi Harv098720,

That definitely sounds frustrating, thanks for bringing it up!

If your Secure Folder keeps auto-launching when connecting to your car’s Bluetooth on the Galaxy S25, even overriding your Waze routine, here are a few things to try:

Check Bixby Routines & Modes: Go to Settings > Modes and Routines > Routines. Look for any preloaded or auto-created routine that launches Secure Folder on Bluetooth connection. If found, disable or edit it.

Check Secure Folder Settings: Open Secure Folder > Settings (3-dot menu). Look for any option like “Auto-launch” or “Show secure folder when unlocked” — and toggle it off if available.

Clear Secure Folder Defaults: Go to Settings > Apps > Secure Folder > Open by default. If it's set as default for any action, clear defaults.

Recreate the Waze Routine: Delete your existing Bluetooth + Waze routine. Recreate it from scratch in Modes and Routines, setting Bluetooth connection to car as trigger and Waze as the action avoid using Secure Folder actions in the same routine.

If the issue continues, try booting into Safe Mode to rule out third-party interference, or submit a report through the Samsung Members app under: Support > Send feedback > Error reports > Secure Folder or Routines.

Let us know if that helps!
