Anyone have any ideas on how to remove a broken sim card tray?? Samsung Galaxy S8
When I use the key to open tray, one side of the tray (where memory card goes) is broken (other side is still attached) from bottom part of tray (where sim card is).
Can't figure out how it broke cause once the cards were put in over 2 years ago, they may have come out 3 times.
Got a new phone and need to switch over sim cards!!!
If it is stuck and you need the SIM card, use all resources you can to get it out.
But if you don't want to use force, there is an alternate method. Get a new SIM card from carrier and ask them activate your phone number on your new SIM card. Then you can insert new SIM card into your new phone.
