Galaxy SYou would need to download the latest Samsung firmware for your phone & flash it with Samsung's Odin tool.
There's two ways you could do this.
Download the latest US "U" firmware & flash it with Odin & you will remain on the US Firmware & will have to manually flash future updates the same way.
You COULD use "Patched Odin" & download the latest Canadian firmware for your phone & flash it, this will certainly cause a factory reset, so make sure you backup your phone with Smart Switch first.
You SHOULD now be able to receive future updates with needing to flash the updates manually, I THINK?
You will have to download & install Samsung's USB drivers on your computer, as well as the version of Odin you want, depending on whether you decide to Flash the Canadian firmware or the US firmware.

Galaxy SSammobile, but it's really slow to download. I use Frija to download Samsung Firmware.
Here's the XDA link, download Frija to your computer & install it. When you use it, you will need to run it as Administrator.
Make sure you en the Fields correctly & it's very fast to download the Firmware.
