Switched from iPhone 16 pro to S25 plus

Words are not enough to describe how much fun it is to use S25 plus and how happy I am with this purchase. I've been an Apple user for almost 10 years using iPhone, watch, iPad and MacBook pro. I always wanted to break free from the Apple world because it recently felt like I'm bound to something and can't break free to explore amazing technology outside Apple world. Recently I traded my old iPhone 15 for S25plus, ended up getting watch 7 and buds pro 3 on hefty discount which no one can and should avoid. I gave my Apple devices to my family member and ended switching to Samsung now. For the lack of words, I love my S25 plus so much. It is fun, smooth, reliable, and powerful like a complete perfect bundle. Pairing it with watch and buds pro is like icing on a cake. Its hard to describe the feeling but i apparently feel so relieved and free. The display and screen is insanely good. I have S20 FE from work which I use to recieve work calls and do work stuff so I already had an idea of what to expect with the latest and greatest. I loved oneUI but on that phone its only 5.1 but oneUI 7 is...uff....gorgeous. I have a lot to say ofcourse but that's for later. I now understand the Galaxy fanbase when they're proud to talk about those phones and I'm part of it now.

Like you, i was with Apple for a long time; 13 years. For my job role IT Technician/Analyst i called in support n deployment from PocketPC, PocketPC-Phone Edition, Symbian S60/UIQ, BBOS/BB10, iOS, and Android [Nexus 4, Xperia Arc S, Xperia 5 and S9] yet those were far too early editions Nexus 4 & Xperia 5 being my favorite.

What's funny is a feature that failed terribly with iOS locking me out and needing a laptop that I could not afford got me researching and trying the S23 that got me hooked.

I tried the 12 mini for a week earlier this month, planning to sell my S23 to sell to help my ex love/GF out of a jam, but holy shizzle! I just couldn't do it:ios has fallen so much it's pure garbage! 12 mini & 13 mini i owned when they came out, but yuck, iOS has no appeal.

I'm very impressed daily with my S23, and in a few short months, I will upgrade to the S25 Ultra, and the Dame will get beta, too.

Galaxy Watch Ultra 1st, then either Fold 6 or 7.

I'm sure you'll love the ultra. I've tried it plenty of times in store but its just too much phone that i dont need and not going to be utilizing to its fullest lol. So i ended up getting plus variant instead.

You might have noticed Safari bookmarks may have gotten jumbled and unorganized into Samsung Internet Browser during the switch tho.

I do recommend setting up your S25 via Samsung Dex for a much easier method to resort them if that has happened.

Woah yes I didnt realize there's so much out there outside Apple world lol. I'm definitely going to check out galaxy tabs next. Have you tried those? Thoughts?

Haven't tried the Tabs yet.

Personally, if I was I'd consider the Tab S9 as it has a Qualcomm SoC vs MediaTek on the Tab S10. That's just a silly preference for myself doesn't mean anything at all plus it's the last 11" screen model made by Samsung. I never needed big tablets

Oh i actually set up my phone from scratch haha. Although i haven't transferred bookmarks from Safari to Samsung internet yet. I'm quite sure I know its going to be difficult lol.
