After the update,  finally the it look like it may be working but this happens, after I click on it, comes back with unable to register.

If your provider doesn't support RCS, registration will fail. If you have Telus, Koodo, Vidéotron, Fizz or Wind Mobile, they do not support RCS yet. All you can do is ask (not politely) for them to support this feature ASAP.
