Anyone else got the same error when you try to install Galaxy S8 TouchWiz on our Galaxy S7? If yes, how did you fix this issue?

Why would you want to install the Galaxy S8 Touchwiz on to the Galaxy S7? Doesn't the S7 already have the Touchwiz installed? It should be. If you are getting this error then the Touchwiz feature for the S8 may not be compatible with the S7 due to any software changes or updates and may also cause a conflict between the two features.

The easiest way would be to factory reset your phone (backup your phone first) , go through the setup at the beginning but don't add any accounts, once you're on your home screen, you'll be able to install the Samsung S8 launcher, Bixby, weather and some other apps from the S8.

Don't quote me on this, but I think that Samsung made that update specially for the s8. In order to make it work on S7,it needs to be tweaked and edited since there are major differences between S7 and s8, for example the screen ratio.

happened to me. but what i did was disable the lock screen put the apk file on the home screen, then install it as soon as possible. mine worked in 3 tries but first you should clear the cache of the touchwiz

That isn't an official app by Samsung. So, a couple is things, Touchwiz is no longer the official term for the Samaung uaer interface on Android. The current term is GraceUX. I would recommend avoiding third party skins like this, it has been my experience they make your phone slow and unstable.
