The Samsung translator is translating "Nein" ("No" in German) to "The al-Qaeda-linked al-Qaeda-linked al-Qaeda-linked al-Qaeda-linked al-Qaeda-linked al-Qaeda-linked al-Qaeda-linked al-Qaeda-linked al-Qaeda-linked al-Qaeda-linked al-Qaeda-linked al-Qaeda-linked al-Qaeda-linked al-Qaeda-linked al-Qaeda-linked al-Qaeda-linked-linked-in-linked attack,"
I tested it both on whatsapp and instagram.

I'm thinking that this post is just spam.

Samsung's translation works just fine from German (which I happen to speak).

If you're getting something else on WhatsApp or Instagram, go spam them.

That's a Samsung feature, not WhatsApp or Instagram feature. That's why I posted it here.

As you can see from the screen shot I posted, Samsung Translate correctly translated the German word for "no", and no additional information or links.

I shared my screenshot, too. I tested it on all the platforms that support the Samsung built-in translation feature. It's happening everywhere. I am currently on a chat with an agent. Let's see what's up.

Hi hakaishin007,

Please perform Clear Cache and Clear Data. Corrupted cache or data in the Samsung Translator app can cause issues.

  1. Go to Settings > Apps.
  2. Search for Samsung Translator (or any system translation service like Bixby Vision).
  3. Tap Storage > Clear Cache, and then Clear Data.
  4. Restart your phone and test the translation again.

Ensure the language settings on your device are configured correctly:

  1. Go to Settings > General Management > Language and Input.
  2. Check that the default language is set to English (or your preferred language).
  3. Ensure the German dictionary or language pack is updated if you're using it.

Also, can you please tell us If the issue is app-specific only happens in WhatsApp or Instagram?

It's happening on all the apps that support Chat Assist. I will follow your method and update once I end the conversation with the Samsung support.
