A while ago, i saw 2 messages app in the phone. Which one is the default message app from these 2? And how can I uninstall one because it cannot be done.
Thanks all 🙂

Lots of confusion in this thread so in gonna clear things up:

S21 devices and later ship with a unique, Samsung exclusive version of Google Messages pre-installed, along with Samsungs own Messages app. Both are valid, up-to-date messaging applications featuring rich communication services (RCS).

Which one you decide to use is up to you, but neither can be uninstalled. Google Messages contains features such as SMS reactions, and reaction transcribing (no more annoying texts when an iPhone user reacts to a message you send), but does not contain categories or some of the more niche features of Samsungs own messaging app.

This.

Google Messages is better !

Also to add, the Samsung themed version has like none of the new features though. So just install the openbeta one from apkmirror to get all features.

I don't have advice on how to delete one. Because I don't think you can... but the first ine you put the picture of... is a new image that appeared on my phone this morning... I did not do any update or anything... so I'm just wondering how it got there in general 🤔
