Unable to send TEXT messages on Galaxy S6 Lite tablet

Hi Tlew, With the Call & Text feature on other devices, you can make calls and send messages on your tablet as long as it is signed in to the same Samsung account as your phone. However, the connected phone must have active service.
Here are the compatible phones:
Galaxy S: S20 5G, S20 + 5G and S20 Ultra 5G, S10e, S10, S10 +, S10 5G, S9 and S9 +.
Galaxy Note: Note20 5G and Note20 Ultra 5G, Note10, Note10 +, Note10 + 5G and Note9.
Galaxy A: A50 and A20
Galaxy Z: Galaxy Fold, Z Flip and Z Fold2
You can use any of the above compatible phones to make a call or text message from your tablet.

Hi Keagan... I have a Galaxy S8 phone that is active and works perfectly. Should I be able to text from my tablet ? Texts that I have sent on my phone show on my tablet. Sure wish I hadsome 'tech' knowledge , but unfortunately I have close to none.
