Can someone help me understand why I have random folders in my file manager that say debug?

I don't have any debugging enabled and I wasnt anywhere near computer or phone.

What are these folders? I access the data and i dont know where they are coming from.

Wiping Cache wouldn't do anything whatsoever with the debug folder... if that's what you are asking.

Clearing the device's cache, just cleans up "ju*nk" in the cache, but it won't do a thing to any folders.

Essentially a waste of time, unless your device is behaving a little slow / odd.

Here's what I would do : delete the folder, don't worry about it but keep an eye on it in case it happen again. It could just be junk left over from an old app or something like that.

It's just the debug folder for the google fitness app you're in. Lots of apps will have one for developers use when they are debugging.

You're likely going to see a lot of files and folders you don't understand when you browse internal app folders, unless you are a developer of course.
