Galaxy SHi Redonis_,
The "Files" app you saw is Google's built-in file manager. It's part of the Android system and is mainly used when apps need to open or upload files. It’s different from Samsung’s “My Files” app, which is made by Samsung and gives you more control over your phone’s storage.
You can’t uninstall the "Files" app because it’s a system app, but you can disable it though it’s generally best to leave it on since some apps rely on it to function properly.
You’ll see both apps on Samsung phones: My Files = Samsung’s full-featured file manager.
Files = Google’s basic file picker for system-wide use.
Now that you’ve re-enabled it and it works, you're all set! No need to worry both apps can exist together without causing issues.
Let us know if you need help with anything else!
Thank you.

Galaxy SThere's two "files", one is Google's, and the other one is installed, but I can't access it. That's the one I suspect is a relic from Android.
