Upgrade problems

Anyone with an S20 or possibly any other model have problems with any connections to either WI-FI or your own network connector since updating to the Android 13?

Also, did you observe any error message while trying to connect?

Helena, the whole phone would just freeze as if I no longer have any internet connection. I'd wait about 1 minute before restarting the phone.

Hi, have you tried to perform network reset and Wipe cache partition and reset network setting? If not please perform both the steps and check if it resolves the issue.

1.Turn off the unit.

2.Press and hold the volume up button and press and hold the on/off button. When the Android logo is displayed, release all keys ("Installing system update" is displayed before displaying the Android system recovery menu options).

3.Press the volume down key repeatedly to highlight "wipe cache partition".

4.Press the Power key to select. Press the Volume Down button to highlight "Yes" and press the Power button to select. When the wiping of the cache partition is completed, "Reboot System Now" is highlighted.

5.Press the Power button to reboot the unit.

1. Go to Settings, and then select General management.

2. Find and select Reset.

3. Choose Reset network settings.

4. Tap on the Reset settings button.

5. Tap on the Reset button.

Note: When you reset the network settings, the Wi-Fi information connection are reset.
