VoLTE by FreedomMobile for S8+ and S8

Freedom Mobile just pushed VoLTE for my S8 plus and I have been testing it out all day today. There is noticeable improvement in voice quality. Toggle to turn it off or on is also appearing in phone settings. (Screenshot attached). When I make phone calls. There is a High Definition or HD logo displayed to show that the call is HD. I personally think it should have been HQ vs. HD. Non the less. Who else noticed this? Do Roger's and Bell already provide this service?

Try updating your sim. Send the message 'SIM' to 40001. This will update freedom mobile sim settings. Also, your location in the network coverage may also play a factor. Not all signal towers are the new ones needed for this technology. Try updating the sim. And later restarting your phone. If nothing works call freedom and request troubleshooting.

See how good Freedom support is, just see their support messages from their official support account... how can somebody ever use or stay with Freedom? Their service is beyond worse.
First they tell me they don't support VoLTE on Samsung devices! Then they tell me where did I hear they support VoLTE, then I showed them their website where it clearly says S8/S8+ supports Freedom VoLTE.
Then they're telling me it'll automatically happen and there is no VoLTE enable/disable toggle!! So I showed them your screenshot, and another one from Reddit. Now they tell me they have no info!

What you have there is a guy who just started his job or has no clue or just doesn't care. Call Freedom Mobile. First you will speak with customer care. Select Technical issue. Then the person would do some basic troubleshooting. if nothing works. they'll connect you to their actual technical department. they'll have more information. if they can fix it good! if not they'll forward the issue to their back office.

Look into changing your CSC. It's a code you dial in your phone app and hit install. Find the freedom mobile CSC or something maybe. This will wipe your data if you press install.
