Galaxy SFirst off, most Devs don't pay much attention to Geekbench scores, rather it is more important what the user experience is, than arbitrary scores. Having said that, Geekbench removed a number of Samsung's "flagship" results, accusing Samsung of manipulating the scores!
That aside, it's possible that you are seeing a variation in the scores on your device because of Battery Optimization etc.
So before you run any tests, ensure that Battery Optimization is OFF, and that there's no restrictions on the Geekbench app.

At the end of the day, I wouldn't be too concerned about Geekbench or any other performance measurement tools.
