Wifi call is draining my battery even after disabling it. I tried everything, including reseting all my setting, wipe cache, factory reset. Even on safe mode it's killing my battery. This started since I updated to one ui 4 and now it's too late to revert to one ui 3. Any help is appreciated.

Just curious. Even after factory reset, WiFi calling still running in background without enable it? 🤔

As I know all my phones after factory reset, WiFi calling set back to disable. If it is disable, that really strange that WiFi calling running at the background and drain battery.

Yes even after a factory reset its still running in the background. The feature is not even enable. It's blowing my mind cuz I love my phone and I got it for the big battery but now it's useless dead weight cuz of some glitch on android 12. I don't know what else to do but wait for next update. I was hoping the April one would help but it didn't.

Yeah I really don't think that it should, just trying to think of any explanations.. There's no difference in the actual hardware between the Canadian & US S21 series...

We've been Flashing the US Betas on our Canadian devices without any issues, but we have to use Patched Odin to Flash successfully.

The only other thing that I can think of off hand, would be to Flash the Canadian CSC on your device ⚠️ This will likely force you to Factory Reset ⚠️  And don't know if that will fix the drain? 🤔

At this point I'm ready to try anything. I'm still careful thought, I wouldn't want to brick my phone neither. Can I use the regular Odin tool to flash the Canadian firmware? I presently have the XAA version installed. And I was gonna tried the XAC which is the bloatware free version, I believe. But it's for a different phone model. It show as SM-G996W. Does that matter?

Can you post screen shots of Software Information & The first screen in About Phone ⚠️⚠️⚠️Please Hide the Serial Number & IMEI ⚠️⚠️⚠️

As I have done in my screen shot.

There is no personal information contained in the screen shot of Software Information (2nd screen shot).

Just want to know what your device "thinks" it is.
