I've been buying Samsung phones for over a decade & never had any Hardware issues - Except for my Note4 which suffered an emmc failure after a couple of years.

There's a couple more things you can try:

a) On the Samsung Members app - Click on the "Help" Icon & Then "Interactive Checks" - Click on the "Wi-Fi" Icon & wait for the results - Please post the results here.

b) Backup your device with Smart Switch & Factory Reset ⚠️ After you Factory Reset - Your device will be as it was when you first received it - Hopefully the WiFi issue will be resolved 🤞

To Boot your S20 Ultra into Recovery Mode:

a) Power Off your device.

b) Press & Hold Power + Volume UP until you feel the phone Vibrate - Release BOTH buttons - Once you see the Recovery Menu - Use the Volume button to Scroll down to Wipe Data Factory Reset - Select with the Power button - Wait a few seconds until the Menu Defaults back to Reboot Now - Select with the Power button - Wait a couple of minutes until you see the Welcome Screen & Setup your device as new.

Reset all network settings back to default values.

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to pull the notification panel down.
  2. Tap the Settings icon on the upper-right corner.
  3. Scroll to and tap General management.
  4. Touch Reset. Tap Reset network settings.
  5. Tap Reset settings.
  6. If prompted, enter your PIN, Password or Pattern.
  7. Finally, tap Reset.

Who are you asking?
Did you use the Diagnostics here on the Samsung Members app?
Did you try seeing if a Factory Reset would solve the issue?

If I was having the issue you describe - I would definitely try the above steps before visiting a Samsung Service Centre.. but that's just me.

Hi Benji2020,

I suggest you to use Smart Switch to backup your data before performing the Factory Reset.

You can transfer many different types of files using Smart Switch. However, some can only be transferred between two Galaxy phones.

  • Personal content: Contacts, S Planner, Messages, Memo, Call logs, Clock, Internet

  • App data: Images, Music (DRM free content only), Videos (DRM free content only), Documents, Story Album, Applications

  • Settings, etc: Email, Wallpaper, Lock screen, Radio, Preferences.

Not all content can be backed up and therefore transferred with Smart Switch. Here are the files that are excluded from a backup:

  • Contacts: Contacts saved on the SIM card, SNS (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), Google accounts, and work email accounts are excluded.

  • S Planner: Appointments synced with external accounts, such as Google, and calendar stickers and excluded.

  • App data: Data saved in private storage cannot be backed up.

  • Email: Social Hub and Premium accounts (Push email) are excluded.

  • Live wallpapers and themes: Live wallpapers and themes are excluded. You can reinstall these from the Galaxy Store.

As I said - I backup my device with Smart Switch to the external sd card - Rather than my computer - As I find restoring from the external sd card to be faster & more convenient - You can also use Samsung Cloud or Google Cloud backup - But I still prefer to use Smart Switch... But there's no reason not to use Backup your device to the Cloud as an additional backup.

The screen shot gives you an idea of what is Backed Up with Smart Switch - The ones with the "!" don't backup some data that is backed up to the Cloud - But you can click on the "!" for more details.
