Hey Samsung folks, I am having a weird issue with my WiFi on my phone and I'm wondering if anyone else is having the same issue after updating to One UI 8. I've only noticed it on the Google play store, but when I'm connected to my WiFi 6 I seem to have download problems with apps whether I am downloading a new app or I am updating apps. Random apps will not download all the way or it will go to 99% and then freeze and thrn take over 1hr or so to complete the install. However, when I use mobile data I have zero issues downloading and updating. This only started happening after the One UI 8 update. Can anyone else relate to this weird issue and does anyone have a fix for it that they can share?

Well, seems that i figured out the issue. In the WiFi settings under the connection labs section I enabled the "L4S" option and it has seemed to have stopped the WiFi issues I have been having. I'll test this out for the next while to see if the issue presents itself again and go from there.

Hi Jctiger84,

It is unusual to hear that you have been facing the Wi-Fi issues following the One UI 8 update.

It’s encouraging to hear that enabling the “L4S” option under the Connection Labs section in Wi-Fi settings has helped resolve the issue. Your proactive troubleshooting may be beneficial to other users experiencing similar symptoms.

We recommend continuing to monitor the device’s performance over the coming days to confirm the stability of this solution. Should the issue reoccur or persist, please feel free to reach out to the community. We will help you further.
