Wrong trade in information?

So I finally received my S24U order trade in email almost 3 months after delivery and noticed the amount was not the full promotion but only $395 with $0 promotion. Anyone else have this? Had to argue with them it wasn't my fault it took them this long to send the email, not my problem. Anyways now they will apparently have to issue me a NEW trade in email and who knows how long that will take.

I tell you, this is the absolute last time I order with Samsung directly. What a nightmare.

Edit: actually it was the serial number they had as my trade in. It was NOT the same as when I placed the order (it was showing a random U1 USA unlocked model???). Be careful and read over the entire trade in sheet before you submit.

Yea I hear you. I previously traded in my S22U and Z Fold 4 with Assurant without any issues, but I always take 4k video and lots of photos of every angle of the phone and screen to demo that it works before I sent it to them just in case something came up after reading all the negative experiences from other users. I'm hoping the trade-in process goes smooth this time for me also, but I don't know why it took so long to even get the trade-in email since I pre-ordered it from day one. Will this be your first time trading in?

If they charge my card I will likely initiate a credit card dispute for unauthorized charge. :) however, I will be taking pics and videos. Screen protector is still on and still in ottorbox at this exact second.

Mine has also wrong information about IMEI/Serial number. But the model description and trade-in value is correct. Do I need to ask to fix the serial number before send it back?

I asked for the serial number to at least be corrected because I don't want them saying I sent the wrong phone

Yea i alway have mine mint too since I trade in every year. So far no issues but I still like to document just in case. I'm shipping my phone out today, hope the valuation process is quick.
