Hello,
Today morning I saw there was bunch of dead rainbow style pixels in middle of my phone.
Tried reboot, safe mode, reset but didn't fix the issue. Do anyone know how to fix this?

Hi Moni121, we request you to contact the service center. If the technician determines that there is damage then we suggest you to check with other options like Samsung Care+.

Samsung provides 12 months of manufacturer warranty and the device must be purchased from a Samsung authorized Canadian retailer. The device must not have any physical/Liquid Damages/software modification for it to be covered by the Samsung 1 year limited parts and labor manufacturer’s warranty.

Please visit the nearest Samsung Authorized Service Center, Here is the link for ASC details. https://www.samsung.com/ca/support/service-center/

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. In Istanbul, but Samsung Turkey says it is user problem and I should pay the fixing bill although phone is under warranty .I still wait Samsung's answer to my rejection. And I get upset when I see its solved under warranty in another country..Its a serious trust policy problem and I will use my legal rights if they dont solve the problem.

If you're in Turkey, not sure why you are posting on Samsung Members Canada?

Because If Samsung Turkey wont solve the problem underwarranty, I will show these solved cases as a proof  about untrustable service policy on consumer court.A global branch services should be equal in every country.

Samsung doesn't even provide warranty coverage for devices purchased in a different country.

You are just wasting your time posting here.

There's absolutely nothing that Samsung Canada will do for you, other than maybe start deleting your posts as Spam.

I have a flip 3. Bought it 10/11 months ago. Loved it at first. Dropped it in my first week, worked fine for 5 months. Then out of no where, a dead pixel appeared. Took it to Samsung, they said because the phone had been dropped the warranty is now void. I told them it worked just fine after that for months. Fortunately I had taken insurance, the phone was then repaired 95% paid for by insurance. I was pretty upset with samsung, but they don't really care. I got my phone back and it was brand new. The display, hinge and bumper was replaced. Then after another 5/6 months another deadpixel appeared just like yours. And yet again samsung said theres nothing they can do about it. Fortunately insurance got my back.

Samsung service **bleep** but the products are good. They are least helpful, especially Samsung India.

This was a cool phone, but clearly a ton of people have wasted money on this product like me. i moved on to the s22 near been happier. Would never recommend a foldable to any one. especially a samsung. Everyone i know had the same problem and samsung wouldn't bother to replace their half baked product which they sold to us. I am super upset being a long term samsung customer.
