Is the galaxy Z fold 2 ever going to get the S pen support that the new fold 3 has? Also a different question....

Since I have samsung customer care+ and my galaxy Z fold 2 is less than a year old and the folding screen is getting bubbles under the screen protector that came with the Phone but I can't take it off or else will void warranty. Anyways I was wondering with customer care + and fold 2 being less than a year old that I've had it. Can I trade it in for the galaxy Z fold 3???

Z fold 2 won't get s pen support cause the digitizer won't read stylus input, it's just not capable

I was reading and I found that one of the pens would work with the galaxy z fold 2. But I wouldn't recommend using it. I've had this phone less than a year and was wondering about trading it in for the fold 3 since I have customer care + and extended warranty

I'm pretty sure the fold 2 won't get support for the s pen. Wasn't Samsung giving 1 year screen replacement for the fold 2? You can always trade it in but I'm sure they won't give you much I checked for my s21 ultra and they were giving me around $550.00 that's a joke.

Yeah I wouldn't trade mine in either. They offer pathetic prices. Sell your house to buy our phones. But when they buy them back they give you the price of a tent.

Hi, The S Pen of the previous models cannot be used with Galaxy Z Fold3 as the operating frequency is different. Now you can use the exclusively designed S Pen for the Galaxy Z Fold3 and there are two types of new

S Pen for Z Fold3: S Pen Pro: compatible with Z Fold3 and other S Pen supporting Galaxy devices through BLE, charging needed

S Pen Fold Edition: that is compatible only with the Galaxy Z Fold3, not supporting BLE, no charging needed Due to the characteristics of the foldable panel, when using the S Pen on the main screen, you should not press too hard with the S Pen to protect the panel.

The newly designed S Pen has a rounded, retractable pen tip to prevent excessive pressure on the foldable screen. It protects the foldable screen when using more than a certain amount of pen pressure. Accordingly, the pen tip reacts and enters into the pen when the force limit is exceeded, preventing the pen from being used. And, the shape of the tip is gradual compared to the previous model. S Pen Pro and S Pen Fold edition are sold separately For Galaxy Z Fold3, only use the S Pen Pro or the S Pen Fold edition that is designed exclusively for Galaxy Z Fold3. All other S Pens or stylus pens not designed for Galaxy Z Fold3(including those by other manufacturers) may damage the screen. Do not apply excessive pressure to the screen with the S Pen, as doing so may cause screen damage.
