Hey guys, I need help with an ongoing issue since Android 13 was downloaded on my ZFold4.

When connected to Bluetooth on any device (Watch4, my car via Android Auto), the sounds / audio starts acting up on my phone going up and down uncontrollably.

When I'm in my car, the phone calls my voicemail nonstop, whether I hang up manually or not.

Bottomline, Bluetooth is acting up. When disconnecting it, everything works flawlessly so I definately know that's the issue.

Anyone has an idea ? I of course tried restarting the phone, clearing cache and etc... Please help as this is a freaking pain in the you know what...

Thanks

Hi, we would like to inform you that perform Bluetooth reset for this issue.

Go to Settings >>apps>>tap on three horizontal lines with three arrow down>>enable show system apps>>go to Bluetooth app>>storage clear data.

Note: When you reset the Bluetooth. The connection are reset.

Try to Reset Network Settings.

Go to Settings & Search for "Reset"

Reset Network settings (You need to know your passwords ⚠️).

Reboot & Make your connections again.

See if that fixes the issue.

If not, if it'd be my device, I'd backup with Smart Switch & Factory Reset

⚠️⚠️⚠️ BUT I wouldn't RESTORE ANYTHING at first, just test to see if the issue is fixed.

Thanks bud. Tried this already and it doesn't seem to have fixed it. I will need to factory reset I think as suggested

Just don't initially restore the backup, just in case it restores the problem.

You could always backup with Smart Switch, but just don't backup your Settings. Apps etc should be fine though.

It's not greyed out for me, but as I've said a gazillion times, I always Factory Reset after EVERY Android Version Update.. never had any issues.

Shamelessly Cut 'n Pasted from my own post.

"

Essentially because, While there's a script in every OTA that essentially wipes Cache. In Android version updates, the script SHOULD erase / wipe data that may be a conflict to the new OS.

It's not always 100% effective, and there's been plenty of posts over the years, where some people experienced issues, some almost unnoticeable, others more so.

Performing a Factory Reset, while shouldn't be required, has for me at least, resulted in never having any problems.
It's a habit from testing Custom Roms & I think that it's served me well."

I did yesterday and after a test it didn't work sadly.
