I have it selected in settings to have a comma button to left of space bar but there is an @ instead even though the setting is for placing a comma there which I would like and want back.

The screenshots show the setting off and on and the result, hopefully a quick update can fix this!

When you long press on @ button, you can choose comma instead of @.1750983586642.jpg

That's not the issue as I said, I want the comma to the left of my space bar like you conveniently show in your screenshot yet when I turn that option on like im showing in my screenshots it puts @ even though the option i turned on has nothing to do with the @ symbol.

If you turn on that option, it shows @ on the left of the space bar. If you press and hold the @ button, you can choose comma and it will show comma instead.

That's messed up, it shouldn't stay on @ permanently until you use , again when you only use @ once, still the setting is for , to be there permanently and its not working right if @ stays there after using it until you use , again.

Sorry, I am confuse. Sounds like you want to use @ once, then the button should change back to comma instead. Right?

Hi erizzle22,

Thanks for sharing the screenshots — this does look like unexpected behavior. The comma key setting is enabled, but the @ symbol is still showing.

Please try the below steps and see if they might help:

Clear Samsung Keyboard cache: Settings > Apps > Samsung Keyboard > Storage > Clear cache.

Reset keyboard settings:  Samsung Keyboard > Settings > Reset to default settings > Reset keyboard settings.

Switch and reselect your input language: Samsung Keyboard > Languages and types > Manage input languages > Toggle English (US) off, then back on.

We'll consider this as a feedback flag this with the team for review.

Thank you.
