I have had a brand-new Galaxy S22 for a couple of months now and It is THE worst phone I have ever had. The bottom half of my screen, and occasionally the top, does not work properly.
I press a button and nothing happens, it does not respond when I touch it. Often, I have to press it many times before it actually does what I'm asking it to do. It is not responding. I wasted 5 minutes trying to add a phone number to my contacts. I get to " add contact" and offers me 2 choices " just once" or "always ". I hit one of two choices, repeatedly, and nothing happens. It is extremely frustrating!!!
Does anyone else have this happening to theirs?

Well, i have an issue similsr to that. Is it where you tap somethingnor press a button and it doesn't respond for immediately? If so i have that problem too. I think it has something to do with the system UI, though I'm not to sure...

If you find away to fix this, please let me know. I am computer illiterate and not sure what UI is. Thank you for your help!

Lol if you're not sure what it is, then why do think it might be UI?

I have the S22 and not seeing any problems

You should boot into Recovery and wipe the cache on the phone

To do this turn off your device

Hold in on the power button and volume up button at the same time until you see something on your screen and then release both buttons

Use the volume down button to go through the choices to highlight Wipe cache partition

Press  power on off button to accept this

Use volume down button to highlight yes

Use power on off button to accept this

Reboot system now should be highlighted so press power button to accept and your phone should boot up normally

If this doesn't solve your problems you may have to save your data with smartswitch to a computer and reset your device
