I don't remember who originally posted this concern, but I sent an Error Report to Samsung regarding this serious issue.

Below is my question & Samsung's response.

Whomever replied, clearly is not familiar with the S25 series, believing incorrectly that the S25 series received an update TO One UI V7.0, when they should absolutely KNOW that it was shipped with One UI V7.0.

Worse, it's quite clear that they don't have a solution, and perhaps not even aware of the issue... Not only can you see the QS Tiles, you interact with them! ie: Toggle Off or On whatever you see!

Under the Settings -> Lock Screen and AOD -> Secure lock settings

You can enable Lock network and security.

No matter someone try to turn off network or shutdown phone, still need to unlock the phone first. Unless this option is not on from initial settings.

Of course, if QS tile could hide will be great.

It just doesn't make any sense that you can view anything on a locked device..

Yeah, some tiles are convenience. Samsung should design only certain tiles shows on lock screen, like flash light, interpreter...etc. But hide all important tiles, like wifi, data, power off...etc.

Or they could let us decide whether we want to show some tiles or hide them completely

I just checked my s23 ultra running OneUI 6 and noticed I too can access the QS and toggle things on and off. 😮

Hi RedDogRabbit,

Thanks for raising this, and for taking the time to send an error report that’s exactly the kind of user feedback that can help drive fixes.

You're absolutely right: the Galaxy S25 series shipped with One UI 7.0, so any response suggesting an "update to" 7.0 shows a misunderstanding of the situation. And yes being able to interact with Quick Settings tiles while the phone is locked is a serious security concern, especially for features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or Mobile Data.

We'll definitely escalate this internally. Your feedback is crucial in helping to improve the user experience!
