This is the LIVE THREAD for the Ask an Expert Event - the thread is now OPEN NOW! Ask away!

 

We're going into another Ask an Expert event - this time, we will be focusing on all things TV! Whether it's concerning the Soundbar, Apps, Smart TV's menu, or anything else regarding Samsung TV's - bring your questions and we'll bring our answers LIVE! Please check out the Tip in the Samsung Members app, or view the image above for more details.

 

As with all the Ask an Experts, I want to remind everyone of the rules that we have - please follow the guidelines below!

 

Format:

  • Please post one question as a “Comment” in this discussion thread
  • The moderator will use the ‘reply’ function in the comment to your answer question based on the Expert panels’ input
  • Only one reply per comment will be made during the event – if there are follow up questions please send them to the Moderator afterwards and we will ensure you get more info!

 

Some suggestions to keep things moving:

  • Please allow a moment or two for your comment (question) to be replied to – we may need to leverage the knowledge of one or two people in the room to create a clear and accurate reply
  • Please do not flood the forum with multiple comments (questions) – let’s give every Member a chance to ask – per above, we will be happy to continue replying during the days following the  event

If Samsung states of an Expert's Line up then how is it that even when I called their Online Services did They "not" direct me To the Right answer rather than to stone wall the concerns that I had at hand, since for the fact of the Matter of How Their Services Speak of " Privacy and or of A Community Standards or of that Matter of Copyright Laws to which They've helped within the Aid of Assisting, and how is it that once I allowed them access within my Phones Domain that Half my Programs were Wipe out of My Phone along with approximately 1,5000 pictures in iCloud and while They Stumble to Ignore my Questions you Clowns wanna Remember 1 vital Fact as You then Bring up if My Identity is a Concern, If Samsung's that Stupid or Inconcuderated They can Also Explain their case at The Hearing and That I will assure You dear People, there will be one!

How do I report a bug to Samsung on a TV. Chat agent in Canada says they have no way of doing it. They tried everything and said wait and see if it is fixed in SW update.

Hi. I have a Samsung 55" UN55SKU6500 TV. At one point, I could use my TV remote to control my Google TV attached to it but it stopped working. I tried everything I can think of to no avail. There hasn't been a lot of solutions in this forum on this topic that helped me. Any help will be appreciated.

I have a UN55KU6500 Samsung TV. I am trying to use my TV remote with Google TV but even though Anynet+ and (HDMI-CEC) is enabled, the remote does not control Google TV. When the Google TV is plugged into a LG or Hisense TV, the TV remote can control Google TV. 

Any help will be appreciated.

I purchased a 4K TV, model #: QN50Q80CAFXZC. I have a DVD/VHS player (Panasonic model # DMR-EZ48V) which was connected to my previous TV by an HDMI cable. However, when I connect it to my new TV, I am notified to try another HDMI cable. I have tried all the HDMI cables that I am using, without issue, for a Roku device, my cable provider and the PS5, but the TV is still not receiving the signal from the DVD player.

Hello. I am trying to connect an older Sony dvd/vcr player to my Samsung tv. My dvd player does not have an hdmi port. It has other ports but it’s confusing. Can someone please help me troubleshoot?
