My Galaxy S7 display has been suffering from burn in for quite some time now. Nothing major, just the upper third of the display slightly brighter than the bottom from portrait YouTube watching haha. Anyways, has anyone here had a display replacement and willing to share the cost? Obviously I want this fixed, but not if I'm going to be out 200+ dollars.
I live an hour away from the nearest service center so I unfortunately can't simply pop over to get a quote :(
Thanks for the help!

May I ask when you purchased the device? I'm assuming cause it's an S7 that you maybe are out of warranty but if in the case you did buy it within the year then Screen burn in would be covered by your 1 Year manufacturers warranty. If not, then I'm not 100% sure on the cost to repair but I wanna say it would be the same as replacing a screen which is 200+ but Samsung may have a different cost for it because it is still technically a manufacturers error.

I have Rogers and they have device protection plan that covers the first screen repair for free. Check your carrier in case you have coverage.

you're looking at a couple hundred dollars. but I suggest you get Samsung to do it instead of a third party if you care about IP68 certification
