OthersI had the same problem on my android device. It is related with the carrier (in my case lucky mobile), they somehow install this in the sim card. when I contacted them they offered to give me a new sim card. I have changed the service provider and the problem went away.

OthersHey guys, I’ve been having the same issue for months! And I have an IPhone, never had a Samsung, and just to reply to this thread I was force to create a Samsung account. 😂 Welcome to the future!
well I also tried everything to get rid of that bwanet adware… I switched phones and even got a new laptop, but like someone said before here, it comes through the SIM card. I decided to go down the rabbit hole and believe me, it’s bizarre: even if u change ur browser home page there’s still some background monitoring. Just go ahead a click on “carrier Services “ on Cellular (iPhone). Samsung must have something similar.. you’re redirected to that mysterious google page, which makes everything worst, I’d prefer to see the webpage and check out what “bwanet” is all about!
Also it’s not really harmless as we might think: I compared results of many google searches with a friend and we’re just guided to whatever these people’s algorithms calculate for us to go. Even ratings of a same product or app can differ drastically, suggesting to us something not so realistic or reliable.
its just sad, I remember having such high expectations about the future and technology. I thought I was going to be free…
