You can leave the phone in the baggie of rice for several hours - Don't use a blow dryer with heat - If this dose not work - Service Center 🐧

I'd leave it in rice overnight - If it still produces the error in the morning - then I'd try a couple of things before going to a Samsung Service Center (assuming you still have at least 40% battery) Boot into Recovery and Wipe Cache - If that doesn't work - Backup your device & Factory Reset (doubtful this will help) - If you have a Wireless Charger that should work - Sorry 🤥

Check this out from Samsung Members US - This was accepted as the solution 🐧

https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-S8-Questions-and-Answers/Galaxy-s8-moisture-detected-won-t-go-away/td-p/110916

In addition to the "accepted solution" - there's another post where someone Booted into Safe Mode & was successful in getting their device to charge.
