When I bought my HW-Q70R Soundbar it was a fron a Toronto dealership that had used it as a display model, so no warranty. It worked beautifully for about a year then quit. Asked about this here & found a service center near me. The display at right end was not functional right from the start. At time of original purchase, I also purchased the HW-8500 Wireless read speaker system.
Now I just discovered that the brand new Samsung HW-Q700A 3.1.2ch Soundbar lists compatibility with the SWA-9500. Does that mean that I have to sell the SWA-8500 or will my new bar connect with the older version? Cheers Oldbroad Angela

Thank you. I am aware of that. I was asking if the SWA-8500 would connect. Cheers Oldbroad Angela
