1 month after warranty period - it cracked :( 

Was making eggs like every day...switched on the heating element, put the pan, 10 sec - "pop" sound, the glass below the pan cracked....

is it 5-year warranty for the cooktop glass?

I don't even know what cooktop is! 😢 I just break the eggs with the edge of a bowl, empty and stir the liquid--pour it into a pan, and voila roast-chicken is ready! 😁

I have used other brands for 30 years, never an issue with a glass cooktop. This one is impossible to keep clean and, it is extremely delicate. Full of scratches. And we’re using the same pots and pans as before with the other brands.  The Samsung cooktop is clearly sub-standard. Very disappointing.

Wish I never bought Samsung appliances have issues with all four I have 3 months in started working for a rental company aka real estate. First thing I was told was don’t buy Samsung. Too late. Fridge is **bleep** oven is **bleep** dishwashers **bleep** all **bleep**

This just happen to us a few days ago, wife was making some food and the glass just cracked, we bought this stove 2 months ago, we contacted samsung support over this and they keep saying that we broke it and the home service technician wants $400 hundred dollars to repair it. Thats a defect on this units and we still have to suffer for it. That’s an awful customer experience

Yup me too. 2 months old. Zero warranty as they are claiming "physical damage". Fun times. I should've listened to the reviews.
