1 month after warranty period - it cracked :(

Was making eggs like every day...switched on the heating element, put the pan, 10 sec - "pop" sound, the glass below the pan cracked....

is it 5-year warranty for the cooktop glass?

The same thing happened to my Samsung glass stove after just getting it brand new. I got extended warranty and have reached out to the appliance store, then they put me to Samsung and no one wants to replace it. I sent pics and explained that it blew up from the inside. I am beyond mad spending so much money on this set and for it to break this way. Zero ***s given while speaking with samsung representatives and told to gonpay to get a new one..... i got the extended warranty and it was new and blew up!! Happy to see im not alone on this but so mad we are out of pocket for this *** stove!

My Samsung cooktop got a hairline crack when the stove was not even being used. We were using the oven when the crack appeared on the top. Any suggestions. Our unit was bought in January 2023.

I've had this Samsung range for a bit over a year and I barely cook. One day, when I DID cook, the stove top started making popping sounds. On closer inspection, I can see that there is a hairline crack on the glass. When I reach out to Samsung, they told me that this is due to physical damage and is not covered even though there was NO WAY I had caused this. I will never buy another Samsung range again, I've wasted over 1k.

I litterly had the exact same thing happen with mine. It started out a really small hairline crack and I thought it was just a scratch. Just over a month past the warranty exspired what I thought was a small scratch turned into a huge crack after boiling a pot of water. Very dissapointing that they'd use such cheap glass on their stoves.

Purchased Samsung Stove 10 months ago but only used it for 6 months. Still within the warranty and stovetop cracked while cooling down. 1000$ stovetop.

Samsung advised its physical damage which is correct it is a physical item and damaged but caused by poor workmanship or poor glass material. Not caused by operator error used as per manufactures manual.

Samsung will not honor warranty and directed me to service repair that dies not answer calls.

Very upset and would not recommend appliances by Samsung
