OthersAny suggestions here? I just purchased the Frame TV and although I love the way the TV looks, I have been disppapointed in the performance of the TV.
Watching a movie the picture is way too dark to the point of unwatchable when you are watching a show that has a scene at night.
The fit to screen mode says unavailable so the majority of movies I am watching are smaller than the TV, when I go to Screen Size and click on it, I get this is not available and can not change it.
Any suggestions would be great.
I want to love this TV but so far have been very disapointed.

OthersHi DaveJ1,
Please make sure that the TV is updated to the latest version.
You can adjust the brightness level of the TV, reduce overall power consumption.
Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Ambient Light Detection.
Automatically adjusts the brightness level of the TV, according to the ambient light level, to reduce power consumption. If Ambient Light Detection has adjusted the screen brightness to a too bright or dark level, you can select Minimum Brightness to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness.

OthersChanging Ambient Light Detection doesn't work for me. The brightness is up to 50 and the TV is still dark AF. It is unwatchable unless the room is pitch black

OthersSame for me, and I have adjusted every setting the internet suggests. Like you said, it’s virtually unwatchable.

OthersAmbient light detection
Is likely somewhat of the culprit...
I find sometimes this works well but in some situations I turn it off.
Also Is there a button on your remote to change pre programmed picture modes like movie/tv etc
This can make a big difference!
With the ambient light detection on and off.
You should also have a brightness adjustment in tv settings too along with other adjustments but for me the tv button modes work good enough 😁

OthersIts a QLED TV so it shouldn't be that dark.
Check to see if your "smart settings" are enabled. Ambient Light detection is what determines how much light is in the room. The sensor is on the bottom of the tv, make sure it's not blocked or covered.
And as for movies...well all movies are filmed in 16:9 so you will have those black bars.
