Gear VR is powered by Oculus who dominates VR market and have ton more content than Daydream. There are many articles on Google on this topic, just search. As someone from this forum says, Google is your friend. 😉

Daydream is kinda abandoned, and the Gear VR platform has a lot of content so..

I think..if you have the Gear VR you'll be able to use Google Cardboard, which also is Daydream
