Google Gemini replacing Google Assistant!

Hello everyone.

I've updated my Samsung S23 recently and installed the AI features, but one of the features was the replacement of Google assistant by Google Gemini.

Now here's the problem: 

1- Although settings for the assistant is enabled to respond to me even when the phone is locked, Gemini won't respond before I unlock the phone and that's a big issue for me.

2- Gemini translation also replaced Google translate when marking a text. The problem is the language available packe are so limited. I need specifically Danish introduced to my phone, as I'm a bilingual and need Danish on my phone.

You can switch back to using Google Assistant as your primary Assistant. You don't HAVE to use Google Gemini.

Hi Hussein91, Gemini, Google's experimental Al-powered assistant, can help you get creative inspiration and be more productive.

However, if you want to set up Google Assistant back as your default assistant.

Open Gemini app and then head to Profile → Settings → Digital assistants from Google.
