Hi Samsung Members,

Last week, we had a discussion about the accessories that we love to use with our Galaxy smartphones. It was interesting to hear everyone's opinions on their favourite accessories and their features!

One accessory that doesn't always get enough credit, yet is incredibly helpful, is the Galaxy SmartTag. I always attach Galaxy SmartTags to my luggage when travelling to ensure they arrive at my travel destination 🧳✈️. For Galaxy SmartTag users, we would love to hear your stories on how this smart accessory has helped you in difficult situations! 

Speaking of Galaxy SmartTag, did you know that Samsung just announced the updated Galaxy SmartTag2? Let's check the highlights below!

[HIGHLIGHTS]

Yesterday, Samsung announced Galaxy SmartTag2 and One UI 6 at the Samsung Developer Conference 2023, alongside other incredible software and hardware innovations. Here are some of the highlights: 

Galaxy SmartTag2 

• 🆕 SmartTag2 now features an updated design with a more compact size, bigger metal loop, and IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. It is even more ideal for challenging outdoor environments.
• 🔋 The battery life of the device has been improved to last up to 500 days (a 50% increase compared to the previous model) and can be extended up to 700 days with the new Power Saving Mode.
• 🔍 The new Compass View feature provides arrows to show the direction and distance of the tag.
• 🔗 Seamless integration with SmartThings Station and SmartThings Find so you can be notified of the location of your tagged item.

One UI 6

• 🆕 Updated Quick Panel button layout so it is easier for you to locate and operate various functions.
• ✨ New, more modern, and more stylish typeface: One UI Sans. The typeface is more readable and easier on your eyes.
• 🖌 ️More personalization: it is now possible to move your clock freely to the position of your choice on the Lock screen, and you can also set different lock screens according to a specific Mode or Routine.

Try, has never been available in Canada. 

But kudos for being courageous enough to even mention Betas. 

It'd be simply AWESOME to see someone from Samsung Members Canada, to make any kind of announcement regarding the possible release dates for One UI V6.0 Stable in Canada.

Don't know if anyone from Samsung has noticed, but there's been a pile of posts inquiring about when One UI V6.0 might be released.. Maybe PIN a Message, or include some information in one of your highly anticipated Friday posts!

Who is this "we" you referred to? This seems like an internal meeting was held. Because we CONSTANTLY complain about Samsung's total disregard for the Canadian market in comparison to the neighbours not even 100 miles away. We've discussed wanting you to open the geo lock and allow Canadians to purchase from Samsung US since Samsung Canada wants to do nothing above the bare minimum for it's users. I kid you not, if Google Pixel had a stylus built in like a Note/Ultra, I'd use that instead. Samsung Canada has zero interest in giving it's customers what they want.

Today the "not available in Canada" note has been removed, so there is hope it will be available in Canada soon

SmartTags2 ... unfortuantely I don't have a use for them just yet but I will consider purchase a 4 pack here in Canada. Use Case: Upcoming Vacation Travel (Luggage), BIcycle (FastRaodAdvance is a $2900CAN bike), knapsack - to help for work laptop and upcoming Tab S9 personal insurance), and 2 for my sweet lady for her needs (purse, etc).
