Now you can easily control SmartThings devices through the Galaxy default apps.
It currently is supported on Galaxy Clock / Weather / Calendar / Smart View, and we plan to expand the supported apps and services in the future.
- Clock: Start your morning in a smarter way by turning on the TV and lights, and raising the blinds when you set a morning alarm.
- Weather: You can check the air quality of your home and turn the air purifier on by using the weather widget, even when you’re outside.
- Calendar: When the calendar schedule notifications go off on your Galaxy devices, you can also receive them on your TV and speakers.
- Smart View: When viewing content through TV mirroring, optimize your home environment for content viewing with a single touch.
The list of supported Galaxy apps and devices can also be found in the Companion App of the SmartThings app.
□ Supported apps:
- SmartThings app version 1.7.59.23 or higher, Clock / Weather / Calendar / Smart View
□ Supported OS: Android 11.0, Samsung One UI 3.1 or higher
- The Companion App can be used on Galaxy devices with One UI version 3.1 or higher. It is supported starting from Galaxy S21, and updates will be provided sequentially going forward. For more details on One UI, please see the page below.
