I recently purchased a galaxy A8 and am still messing with my settings to get comfortable with it. Im trying to change the menus and especially the navigation bar to be white text on black, but i can't seem to find that option. I can only find ugly shades of off white for the bar and complete colour inversion which ruins most apps. The white menus and nav bar clash with a lot of my apps and cause the battery to drain faster, id really like to get it changed if possible. Thank you.

I don't know if this is what you mean but i think you can just change your theme of your phone. I use one called "Android_O_Black" and it has white text on black. You can change your theme from settings or "reverse zoom pinch" from your home screen24a4af25-5f1b-4565-a514-d1d3f8767774.jpg

Lol. you can apply themes to change colors. And you can't change navbar color to black, Samsung removed it because of burn in.
