My Samsung Microwave I have not been able to use for 3 years because of the issue mentioned above.  I tried calling Customer service right after it happened but they said it was nothing they could fix and that they could not help me.  I tried escalating the issue but was passed around several times.

the problem is that there is no power to the door or control panel.  I open the door and the light comes on, the motor starts up and the table starts to turn.  it is an OTR microwave so I have not had the time to uninstall it and have it looked at.  I am concerned that it could be a radiation or fire hazard and have had it unplugged since.

Customers in the US have been able to get their units looked at through the Samsung Forum.

I was able to get the door bezel off and i dont see anything wrong with the wiring harness, i plugged it in and it still has the same issue...i can hear the audible click from the door switches when closing the door, but there is no power to the door. and when open  the motor starts up,  and the turntable starts.

Hi Jeremy?

I haven't heard from anyone yet RE: this issue.  Has it been escalated?  It there a contact number of someone I can speak to about this?

I have checked the door switched, all have continuity.

I have 1 thermostat the DE47-20034A that apparently is discontinued? and I can't find anywhere that has no continuity.

Would that possibly be the issue?
I am not throwing out a $400 microwave that worked for just 2 years for a $8 part.

Sounds like a bad door switch to me.

Shouldn't cost no more than 50 to 90 bucks to repair it if you do it yourself.

I do recommend that keep it unplugged for a few weeks before playing inside of it though since microwaves can store alot of power.

Yup, and if I'm reading it right... Its setup backwards? Works when opened but not when closed 🤷♂️ weird 🙃
I definately would NOT use it until its fixed unless you want microwaves cooking your face 🤦‍♂️

Most microwave have a dual switch. so if one of them are sticking when the door opens, It causes this problem above. It's happens alot.

Sometime fancy doesn't means better.
