Buy US variants, you get beta testing. You get faster updates. I have been using us variants since 2014 and I've gotten all the beta updates. Or change your CSC to U1
No, it's the same bands and won't affect anything on the phone. But if you have a warranty or Samsung Care in Canada you MIGHT mess that up. I have flashed my gf Note 20 ultra and her S23u to a US-unlocked firmware U1. Both worked perfectly, she's still using the S23u with a US firmware.
