Recently bought the q70 tv and q90r soundbar for the atmos capabilities. The one source I was getting atmos from was Netflix and suddenly 2-3 weeks ago there was no atmos support. Also on disney+ it is said that the star wars movies were supposed to be atmos but nothing... just wondering if any others are having troubles finding atmos sources with the samsung TVs?
I had same issue. I bought a nvidia media streamer and now have dolby atmos again. I attempted to use my gaming counsel but it was too old. Suggest you get a nvidia pro if possible, good with plex if you get the pro. Make sure Netflix is premium and playback is set to the highest
So I ended up doing a factory reset on the TV and regained my atmos but that only lasted a couple weeks. no atmos once again. it has nothing to do with netflix and so on. It is the TV. I'll do a factory reset again and I'm sure my atmos will be back but this is pretty sad that the TV and the soundbar basically don't work together properly.
