I've been using Galaxy phones since the Galaxy S6 (except s8) without phone cases, and not once have I broken my screen.

For the first time, I slipped on a wet grass and saw my Galaxy s23 ultra in slow motion fly off my hand, go up high in the air, and landed perfectly on the top left corner of the screen straight onto the concrete sidewalk. I just knew it was over, so I just sat there for a minute looking at my phone on the sidewalk, cause there was nothing else to do. It hurt and still hurts.

I would definitely recommend you take your phone to a certified Samsung repair store, ask them to do an inspection to find out what sort of repair or cost estimate would be required and find out if they recommend you purchase a new phone.

Sorry for your loss..

Carrier Insurance?

Samsung Care?

Kind of like rubbing salt in the wound, and that's definitely NOT the intention, I always have used a very good quality case, just wondering why you were not using one?

Is it possible to get a carrier insurance 6 months after purchase? I've already tried samsung care and it's at most 60 days

Don't know about other Carriers, (probably all the same), but with Rogers it's 60 days.

I was not so much thinking about trying to get it now, just wondering if you had it.

If you purchased the device with a Credit Card, some Credit Cards include insurance with some purchases.
