Samsung Notes restore text

I deleted text within my samsung notes. How can I get / a previous version of what I had written the day before? How do i restore what was in notes a day prior?

If you had trash eneabled you might be able to find the information you are looking for in the trash folder

Look under hamburger menu top left on your screen

Trash is enabled but the trash is only showing if the folder is deleted..not text within the folder itself

Hi, I request you to please follow the below steps once and check.

Recover deleted notes by going to Samsung Notes' three-line menu icon and tapping "Trash" and "Restore." Restore notes using Samsung Cloud Sync by tapping "Import" in the three-line menu icon.

thank you. this did not work. I'm trying to the instance of my notes from yesterday at 9 am..because the text was deleted in the folder. I'm not seeing any instance of my notes from prior days.

Hi just to confirm have you enable that option to back up the data in Samsung cloud if yes, please follow the steps in the given link and check.

Trishy98 ...I've just experienced what you did. I've lost all my information as well. Tried all the suggested steps to recover what was lost and nothing worked for me either.

I cannot believe after years(!!!) this still has not been fixed! I just lost 2 days worth of notes, because I opened it in my phone and it said phones version is the "newest" (what a loud of *** that lie is), so i clicked on it to add something else and just watched how half the note that i typed on my laptop just disappeared. I just cannot believe it! I liked the Notes app as its easier than Word for brainstorming and quick notes, but if it cant be trusted to save the data properly what even is the point of offering such app.  

Time to cry in the pillow for trusting Samsung. And return to stinking WOrd
