Urdu is available with Google Translate. I suspect that Samsung may abandon Samsung Translate, as it does not make sense to have duplicate apps taking up space for nothing.

We are seeing that Samsung is slowly moving away from this silly practice, Samsung Messages is being replaced by Google Messages, I wouldn't be surprised if Bixby also disappears in favour of Google Assistant / Gemini.

Yet each are optional installations. None are native to the app

You only need to download a language, if you are offline.

If there's a language you use frequently, it would make sense to download it, but if you are translating a language once, it doesn't make sense to me to take up the storage space?

Also the latter does not integrate I to Samsung calls either for live translate.

Samsung Gauss is their own LLM so I don't think they'll abandon some started just under a year and it's doing very well. Now that Buds3 Pro have it integrated

The Google translation feature does not function when using AI features on the Samsung internet browser. Furthermore, the Live Translate feature requires Samsung translation as well.
