Hi Samsung Members!

One of my favorite parts of this community is all of the awesome photos taken by Galaxy cameras that members share! It always astounds me how crisp and vibrant the photos come out!

In the spirit of sharing photos - do you use any social media platforms to take and share photos or videos?

If so, how would you compare the quality of those photos taken on the platforms in contrast to using your native Galaxy camera? If you've used non-Samsung smartphones, how would your previous experiences compare with the Galaxy camera?

In general, I would love to hear your experiences on taking photos using social media such as Instagram, Snapchat or TikTok! Do you notice any changes depending on various conditions, such as when you use your front or rear camera, or in lowlight environments?

A lot of questions, I know! As always though, I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's feedback.

Warmly,

Jin @ Samsung Members Team Canada

I usually use my default camera if I wanna capture good quality photos/videos. Can't say the same if I'm using Snapchat/Instagram. There's a huge difference for those apps, although it's been the same case for all other android phones as well.

Hi, thanks for your feedback! If you'd like, would you be able to go into more depth about what you feel the difference is between the apps? Thanks!

This us take today at Twillingate Newfoundland.I was always an iphone but moved to the dark with the S22 ultra last Aug. I have found the s22 ultra is a lot better smartphone for taking photos from the quality and to the zoom. I started with the iPhone 3g 5 7 plus and the to the 11 pro max and they all have the green lens glare with green specs when taking photos of sunsets etc...And the s22 ultra doesn't. I'm glad I upgraded20230215_172754_1000000636_1676494680.jpg20230215_172822_1000000639_1676494704.jpg20230215_172854_1000000641_1676494738.jpg20230215_170753_1000000622_1676493476.jpg

But don't you mean you moved from the Dark side when you came from an iPhone? That's how us in the Samsung/Android world refer to it anyway, lol😆 But amazing pics...sometimes you winder about those bright sunset/sunrise photos if they will lose some detail, but not these!

Love the contrast between the warmth of the sun and the coldness of winter in Newfoundland.
