📸 Share your thoughts on using Galaxy cameras on social media!

Hi Samsung Members!

One of my favorite parts of this community is all of the awesome photos taken by Galaxy cameras that members share! It always astounds me how crisp and vibrant the photos come out!

In the spirit of sharing photos - do you use any social media platforms to take and share photos or videos?

If so, how would you compare the quality of those photos taken on the platforms in contrast to using your native Galaxy camera? If you've used non-Samsung smartphones, how would your previous experiences compare with the Galaxy camera?

In general, I would love to hear your experiences on taking photos using social media such as Instagram, Snapchat or TikTok! Do you notice any changes depending on various conditions, such as when you use your front or rear camera, or in lowlight environments? 

A lot of questions, I know! As always though, I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's feedback.

I do share some Outdoors or Astrophotography photos on Facebook and instagram.

I can noticed that there is a huge improvement from Note20 Ultra to S22 Ultra. The changes from low light photography to stablization. Also the Astrophotography as well. It was horrible when taking night photos when in all dark environment, like night hike. Now is super!!

Compare to other platforms, like Instagram, TikTok and facebook. Maybe those apps are not optimized for Samsung camera, I found that Samsung Camera app has more features and better quality. When using insta to take photos, the quality seems lower. No experience on TikTok.

Even on sunny day, the photos are excellent. Did a snowshoeing just 2 days ago. Device on -8C condition and still works great.

So no matter hot or cold, mountain or snow, my S22 Ultra will go with me and never disappoint me.

Wow, Tallman! You one of the ones in here that never cease to amaze me with your photos! Of course, a good testament to the Samsung cameras, eh?? These and other's photos and what I saw during the Unpacked video have ne so geeked for the S23 Ultra...even more than I normally am for the S line...I'm going to really try to figure out how to get this this time.

Fantastic shots. I find that the Galaxy cameras are getting better all the time. They can't compare to a compact camera for night shots though and as good as the aurora sky shot you have is wonderful viewing on the small phone screen when I project them onto the tv screen to show people that's when you see the differences like pixel density.

When you Compare the S23 Ultra's 200/50 mp sensor to the 108 mp sensor from the S22 Ultra, it's in a different league.

Its new hp2 Sensor is at least 2x better than the one in the S22 Ultra. This phone has huge potential for Photography. I would usually take photos/videos within Samsung's native app.

Then edit the images or videos and upload them to different platforms. I've tried to use Facebook, Instagram, and tiktok. It's just not the same quality. The image/video quality is just downgraded. I know that a lot of these platforms are not fully optimized for Samsung devices.

By keeping the same design with the Ultras, maybe developers might be able to correct this issue.

I'm loving the S23 Ultra!!!!!!
