"Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G" "Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G" "Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G".

These names **bleep**. Can we stop adding random numbers and letters where they don't need to be?

I miss the simple days when the powerful phone had a simple "+" tacked on the end, and if it folded it was simply called the "fold".

Hi JohnH, We used "Ultra" instead of "+". The reason behind it is that we‘re signifying that Galaxy Note20 Ultra packs breakthrough innovations with new technology and enhanced experiences. It is designed for people who demand the ultimate in power and productivity.

However, I forwarded the suggestion to the team. Thanks for the suggestions.

I dont have anything against the "Ultra" branding, honestly. Its just names like "Z Fold 2 5G" that Im not a huge fan of. "Fold 2" and "Flip 2" would be perfect names, however I understand that you guys are marketing them as the Z family so I dont expect that to change. My thought process is that alot of the 2020 flagship names are quite the mouthful, and any way to reduce them would be good. The only way I think makes the most sense would be to remove the 5G branding.

Hi JohnH, Thanks for your response. I already forwarded this as your suggestion towards the naming of devices.

Hmm. Interesting. What would be those breakthroughs, over the Note10+ of course?

@JohnH - When 5G is common and become standard, you won't see this naming anymore 🙂

But...6G will take over and every naming will appear 6G 🤣😂

I know, without 5G, the name looks better, that I agree with. Galaxy Note20 Ultra / Galaxy Z Fold2 🙂
