Hi,

I have been using the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier since April 2017. I heard about the Tizen 3.0 Update with value pack that was made available to the devices on November 20.

I have been trying to update my device since then but no luck. The app keeps telling me that the latest update has been installed. As a further disappointment, it looks like there was another update that was pushed earlier thus week.

Can someone help me update my device to Tizen 3.0?

@yashwanthan, if you haven't already, try restarting your phone and Gear S3, once they are both restarted and connected together, go into the Samsung Gear app on your phone, go to settings/about Gear and click on Update Gear software and see if that works, if it doesn't, you could try resetting your Gear S3 then try again. Finally got the update today. The updated weighed 259 MB. I actually like the cleaner look of tizen 3.0 :)

let me know about your battery. ever since the tizen 3 update and subsequent battery fix update, it still sucks.

Hey Zeek, the battery seems to be still messed up. The watch died within 24 hours when it was barely worn for an hour
