Update regarding Galaxy S22 and Tab S8 shipment delays

Hey Samsung Members,


We are aware that many customers are experiencing shipment delays for specific models, and we wish to clear up some confusion regarding this.


Demand for the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab S8 series of devices have reached a record high. Due to this, our retailers are having difficulty keeping up with orders. We are currently awaiting another shipment of devices from our manufacturers.


Your feedback is valuable to us. Our customer service team is working hard to ensure that every order is fulfilled as quickly as possible. All pre-order gifts and promotional items are guaranteed and will be delivered along with the devices as soon as inventory is made available.

I totally agree, I feel ripped off. Money shouldn't be taken until order is filled and ready to ship. Totally with you in this. I had received same email not long after I ordered. I too have been looking forward to gwtting my phone. And if i had known would have to go through all this I wouldnt have placed a special order. Will definitely think twice if i ever decide to do again.But now looks like finally after 6weeks of waiting it might actually be on its way. Don't believe the status on your account cause that is not accurate. Mine has said on its way for about 3 wks.

Ok I posted before and was trying to be patient, but after today I am at my wits end. I pre-ordered and am still waiting after 6weeks.

I went to go on chat today, started out with saying it was 1hr 46 mins wait, then it jumped to over 2hrs, then 3, like **bleep** how is that even possible?

Decided to call, first time call disconnected almost immediately second time on hold for over half an hour, not bad, but then the guy confirmed my order and then said he was going to check on it and put me on hold, had to be for like 15-20 mins then all of a sudden call is directed to a different dept asking me to.press this for English that for this dept etc, etc.. 

So I push for mobile then I get the support line? I didn't request support, I am just looking for my dam phone that I ordered and expected to have by now. 

Anyway, I told the guy that answered what just happened and he apologized on behalf of the other guy. So he proceeded to try and help, but once I started to give my order number, he was like "I am sorry our order numbers start with US", I told him I was in Canada so he proceeded to transfer me to the right department without even taking my order number to give to the dept, as he said he needed to give them. 

So get transferred, on hold for maybe 5-10mins then call disconnects. 

Like **bleep**? This is getting ridiculous I just want my phone like everyone else that has been waiting.

I think it is time to cancel and move on onto something else.

Spent over an hour with being on hold and getting the run around.and the get disconnected.

Was told to give it a few more weeks and have done so and still nothing.

Not very impressed at all with this situation Samsung I have been pretty patient since I understand shortages and such and it does happen but my patience have gone very thin. Cam only deal with so much.

This preorder was not well thought out. Will never do this ever again that is for sure and will not recommend to anyone to do it either..

Oh and another thing this compensation that they sent out to make up for the wait, not worth it especially when your spending 1700 on a phone like come on Samsung really? Should have better compensation than that. How about a free item or some money back or anything along that line. Not just here's an evoucher for $50 for the inconvenience.  Sorry but I am super pissed off at the moment and am sure there are lots of others who are in the same situation.

You are not alone and I am sure you are aware of the million posts circulating for the last 2 weeks! Sorry you had to go through this. Call and ask for a supervisor and don’t take no for an answer. Stay calm, apparently they cancelled a members order because he was upset over the phone!!!

Thanks for the suggestion and had the Cansian number that is the one I called and nit sure how it ended up on the US, have been staying calm. I am a pretty calm person and takes a fair bit to get me to the point of no control, but when you spend this kind of money and get the run round like lots of others have enough is enough. But looks like I will finally see my phone by next week. As I was ranting an email finally arrived with my FedEx tracking.

Great news!! I am happy it’s coming! And I totally relate to you! I canceled mine last week, had enough! Good on you for being patient!

it has been tough I tell you. My son's came within a few days of ordering but because I wanted a special color my anxiety has definitely been heightened from all of this. But hopefully by Monday 😊
