So I recently updated my phone to One UI 4.1 and got a whole new refreshed look of samsung weather app, but here's the problem. In the older app, there was a thing when widget and the app had a red circle indicating when severe weather alerts are issued. And of course, that feature is gone.

Samsung, why remove useful features?

Which Weather app is that?

Samsung's The Weather Channel still has Alerts, both the app & the widget.

Wierd, the weather app that you have, "Samsung Weather" doesn't seem to be available for my S20 Ultra?

I can download & Install the apk, but can't see it in the app drawer, but it's there in Settings > Apps.. curious 🤔

Hey, I know what is wrong. Just try to add a widget. Now, open it. Okay, now you are in the samsung weather application! Okay, now you can add the icon for the app drawer. Why samsung hides it by default? I have no idea, and neither do you.

Just to be sure, because I want to be sure I am clear on this:

Okay, when the app is open, open the hamburger menu and then the settings. It will show the op^tion below.

Hi, as you are having an issue with the Weather app, you can reset it.

Please launch your Settings and select Apps >> Scroll down the list of apps and select Weather >> Tap on Storage >> Select Clear data and Clear cache.

I did that and it doesn't changes anything, but this is not an issue since I've seen a lot of people complaining about it.

At the end of the day, Samsung just removed that feature... guess that I will use a 3rd party weather app then...
