Hi there,

As mentioned in the title, my phone applies wrong network settings thus preventing me from heaving 4G connection on it. Two years ago I purchased S9+ in Singapore and on first activation it updated some network settings on it. Phone worked fine in Asia and Australia and I had 4G on it, but when moved back to Europe or traveled to US I could only get H+. I thought it's just because my phone is purchased in different region and i lived with it ever since. But 2 months ago I bought new S20 here in Europe and when I set it up with my account, I got the same message - something like updating network profile or settings, can't remember exactly, and again, I'm stuck with H+, and NO 4G connection.

I checked my Samsung Account and it says my Country is Singapore and I can't change it. I believe that, since my Country is listed as Singapore, phone again applied some Asia network profile on it. For paying so much money for  a top notch product and only being able to get H+ on it is absolutely unacceptable and frustrating. Official Samsung Service did nothing to help neither. May I please get some help on resolving this??? How do I get 4G connection on my Samsung phone...

Check with your phone carrier. I think there is no issue on your phone. If you believe is Samsung Account issue, simply create a new account under Samsung Europe and try using Samsung Europe account.

Hey alajbeg,
As mentioned by Tallman, you can create a new Samsung account using a particular Samsung European country link, like Samsung Canada. Then try to verify the network settings to get the 4G connection on your phone. You can also check with your Carrier. It is a Samsung Canada community, where we are assisting each other for issues regarding Samsung Canada products. Please contact your country Samsung community if you are from other than Canada as said by h0h0h0.

Thanks to h0h0h0 and Tallman for your information.
